Is Nurse Tips completely free to use?
Nurse Tips offers a robust free tier that includes access to hundreds of practice questions
across multiple subject areas, the full drug reference and lab values guide, ECG library basics,
the dosage calculator, and a set of clinical tools. A premium subscription is available for

The free tier is sufficient for casual study and exploring the platform before committing.
How is Nurse Tips different from other NCLEX prep apps?
Several things set Nurse Tips apart. First, multilingual support — we offer full content
in 7 languages, making us one of the only platforms to serve non-English-speaking nurses
comprehensively. Second, we cover both US exams (NCLEX-RN, NCLEX-PN) and Middle Eastern
licensure exams (DHA, HAAD, MOH, Saudi/Qatar/Kuwait/Oman Prometric) in a single app.
Third, we integrate practical clinical tools (ECG, ABG, drug reference, dosage calculator)
alongside exam prep, so the app remains useful after you pass your licensure exam.
Fourth, our NGN-style cases with Clinical Judgment Measurement Model (CJMM) scaffolding
prepare you specifically for the Next Generation NCLEX format.
Which languages is the app available in?
Nurse Tips is fully available in English and Arabic (bundled in the app for offline use),
and in German, Spanish, French, Hindi, and Simplified Chinese (downloaded on demand within
the app). All translations cover the complete user interface, practice questions, rationales,
flashcard content, and clinical tool text. Arabic content is fully right-to-left (RTL)
formatted. Language can be changed at any time from the Settings menu.
Can I use Nurse Tips offline?
Yes. English and Arabic content is fully available offline immediately after installation.
Other language packs (German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Chinese) can be downloaded within
the app over Wi-Fi and then used completely offline. The clinical tools — drug reference,
dosage calculator, lab values reference, and ECG library — all function offline. An internet
connection is only required for syncing progress, accessing the AI tutor feature, and
participating in community challenges and the leaderboard.
Is the clinical content in Nurse Tips medically accurate and current?
All clinical content in Nurse Tips is developed based on current evidence-based practice
guidelines from authoritative sources including the American Heart Association (AHA),
the World Health Organization (WHO), the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN),
the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the American Association of
Critical-Care Nurses (AACN). Drug information uses WHO International Nonproprietary Names
and is cross-referenced against standard pharmacology references. Content is reviewed by
registered nurses and updated regularly to reflect current clinical guidelines.
Note: Nurse Tips is for educational purposes and exam preparation only —
always follow your institution's protocols and consult current clinical references for
actual patient care decisions.
Does Nurse Tips cover the Next Generation NCLEX (NGN) format?
Yes. Nurse Tips includes a dedicated NGN case study section that uses the Clinical Judgment
Measurement Model (CJMM) framework. NGN-style question types covered include Enhanced
Multiple Response (EMR), Extended Drag-and-Drop, Cloze (drop-down), Enhanced Hot Spot,
Matrix/Grid, and Trend items. Cases present a complete patient scenario that unfolds over
multiple interactions — recognizing cues, analyzing findings, prioritizing hypotheses,
generating solutions, taking actions, and evaluating outcomes — aligned with the six
cognitive skills NCSBN assesses on the NGN.
How do I prepare for the DHA, HAAD, or MOH UAE nursing exams?
The DHA, HAAD (DoH Abu Dhabi), and MOH UAE nursing exams all use Prometric testing centers
and share similar content structures. They assess nursing knowledge across adult health
(medical-surgical), fundamentals, maternal and child health, psychiatric nursing, community
health, pharmacology, and leadership. Nurse Tips provides separate question banks for each
exam, mapped to the official content outlines. We recommend starting with a timed mock exam
to establish a baseline, then focusing study sessions on your weakest domains, using
flashcards for pharmacology and lab values, and completing at least 1,000 practice questions
before your test date.
